I am thrilled to announce that Destiny has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best World Music Category. This is the first ever Celtic Woman Grammy nomination, and I am delighted to be featured as a soloist and to have co-arranged new material for the album with musical director Gavin Murphy. The show was filmed in the Round Room of the Mansion House in Dublin, a building of great historical significance for the Irish nation. I also had the great pleasure of working as vocal director and creative consultant on the album. The Grammys will be broadcast live on February 12th 2017 from the Staples Centre in LA. I am thrilled and proud to announce that I will be celebrating Celtic Womans 10th anniversary by kicking off this very special US tour in Syracuse on March 6th. I loved rehearsing with the hugely talented Mairead Nesbitt, Mairead Carlin and Susan McFadden earlier today and cant wait to share the stage with them very soon. The tour kicks off in the Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater on March 6th in Syracuse, New York. I will be with the tour until Easter, including the Belk theatre performance in Charlotte on April 4th.
