Meadows Care Information

Meadows Care provides unique, fully-integrated therapeutic care and education for young people with complex emotional and behavioral needs and social difficulties. Our integrated care model provides good, clear communication and a shared ethos which is essential for success with our young people. We use restorative practice to guide our young people in managing difficulties and conflict. We take males and females and will develop a staff team according to need. All young people are matched according to risk but solo occupancy is available for individuals with significant needs. Our in house therapy team provide specialised evidence-based assessment and interventions for young people, with excellent rates of engagement and improving outcomes for young people. Therapy approaches used include CBT, EMDR, Clinical Psychology assessment and interventions, DBT, Mindfulness and Family Work. We provide education from our specialist school and individual homes- often 1:1 education, achieving academic success with many young people, who were not expected to achieve educationally, raising self-esteem and prospects for the future. The 16+ service takes young people from our residential service for a smooth transition into independence; we also take external referrals for support and accommodation or for outreach support.
