The Vancouver School Board is a large, urban and multicultural school district. The district is among the most diverse public school systems in Canada with an annual enrolment of approximately 50,000 students in kindergarten to Grade 12. St. George's School is a world-class boys’ university preparatory school offering a Day Program in Grades 1 to 12, and a Boarding Program in Grades 8 to 12. With 1150 students, of whom 120 are boarders, from over 18 countries worldwide, St. George’s has achieved international prominence. St. George’s offers a broad range of curricular offerings, many at an Advanced Placement level, and numerous co-curricular options. Fine and performing arts are well represented through award-winning concert bands, dramatic productions, and vibrant visual arts programs. Students have access to more than 45 clubs, a diverse outdoor education program, and more than 50 athletic options.
