MDF was formed in 1986 to serve the mechanical design and build needs of Toronto area building owners, developers and international manufacturing companies. Process Systems - We design and build process cooling and heating systems using a variety of methodologies including refrigeration, evaporative cooling, steam service, hydraulic oil handling. We have experience working with boilers, tower systems, refrigeration systems, open and hydronic pumping systems and PLC or analog controls. Plumbing Services - A wide range of plumbing services are regularly performed for customers worldwide, using steel, stainless steel, or plastic. We help specify, detail design and install piping for domestic water, process liquids, cooling systems, fire protection, storm draining and sanitary systems. Electrical Installation and Service - Indicom is a full spectrum electrical contractor for industrial, institutional and commercial customers with design, construction, installation and maintenance. Indicom also provides key support for data and communications networks including process control, instrumentation, and equipment commissioning. the "electrical" result of when professionals from mechanical design, process cooling, service, manufacturing and electrical contracting join forces. Refrigeration Systems - For more than 15 years, MDF has designed and built highly customized process water cooling and refrigeration systems for some of the largest and busiest plastics, food processing and other industrial plants in the world. In most cases, we are "sole-sourced". The reasons are simple, and have evolved to create maximum customer benefit and value. First, we are not constrained by having a narrow set of capabilities - in most cases, we handle all aspects of refrigeration from initial concept through start up and ongoing service under one roof. Sheet Metal Fabrication - Performing our own sheet metal fabrications in house gives customers quick and easy access to a wider range of fabrications at the lowest cost. MDF can fabricate air handlers, heat recovery blowers, vents, and enclosures with heavier materials than typical HVAC intended equipment, providing process customers with the quality and value sought. Contract Service - MDF operates a fleet of 24-hour radio-dispatched service trucks, specializating in commercial and industrial refrigeration, rooftop and central HVAC, plumbing, steam and boilers, drainage and fire protection services. Our work in high bay manufacturing plants requires us to have the specialized equipment on-hand to install and service many types industrial equipment and piping infrastructure.
