Mcnerney & Associates Information

McNerney & Associates was formed in 1998 by Sharon (Shari) McNerney. She is the President - CEO and sole owner. Her qualifications appear in "About The President" on this website. Her prior association with the Loudoun County Virginia Sheriff's Department and over five years with a Falls Church Investigative firm prepared her to establish her own company. The Company trades as McNerney & Associates under the Virginia Corporation SMTD, Inc., an acronym for her and her children's initials. The Company is a "C" Corporation in good standing, fully insured, licensed and regulated by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). Including her and her Director of Investigations (DOI), the company has available to serve you, two (2) Armed Personal Protection Specialists, seven (7) registered investigators (2 with computer forensic expertise) and a varying number between 10 & 26 registered security officers. The Security Officer Payroll depends upon the number of clients under contract. The Company limits the Security Contracts to no more than two (2) at one time in order to provide the personal attention McNerney & Associates is noted for. McNerney & Associates, under Shari's direction, has prospered over the past 11 years by subscribing to the following principles: ... We will not mislead the client as to what a Private Investigator can or can't do. Any request for illegal activity will be rejected. ... No Client will be charged for conversations with the investigator handling their case. (or conversations with Shari or her Director of Investigations). ... No investigation will be contracted unless there is significant possibility of solution. ... Complete Reports including logs, video and photos are provided at the conclusion of the case. Charges are monitored and promptly conveyed to the Client. The client is given the President or Director of Investigations' personal cell phone number and encouraged to participate in the investigation at the direction of the investigator.
