McKinney Insurance Services was established in 1981 with its first office in Asheville, NC. Since then the agency has grown to 26 employees and has added two additional locations in West Asheville and Weaverville. We are a true multi-line, full-service, and one-stop shop for personal and business insurance. The business is family owned and operated, with Doug being a Co-Owner and President, Sandy being a Co-Owner and the Office Manager, and their son Chad is a Co-Owner and Principal Agent. McKinney Insurance Services believes in building and maintaining long-standing relationships with our clients throughout North Carolina. For 32 consecutive years, the agency has been honored with Nationwide Insurance's most prestigious award for quality service and productivity, Presidents Club, and additionally, Doug is a member of Nationwide's Hall of Fame and was named as a Nationwide All-Star 5 times. Chad took over as Primary Agent in 2012 and has continued the tradition of excellent service to all of McKinney Insurance's clients. He was recognized with his first President's Conference award in his first year as Primary. McKinney Insurance is licensed in 8 states and does business throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Currently we do business in NC, SC, TN, GA, VA, AL, KY & OH.
