McGregor & Partners is a Full service law Firm, which undertakes business in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and elsewhere in the surrounding region. We provide practical legal advice principally on commercial, financial, business and property issues. Our partners are based in Bucharest or in Sofia, Bulgaria. Although the firm was formed as recently as 2002 as a result of the Romanian legal requirement that foreign lawyers in Romania operate only through Romanian law firms, we can trace our development from the establishment in Bucharest of a regional branch office of the City of London law firm Sinclair Roche & Temperley in 1992. Sinclair Roche & Temperley has now merged with the international law firm Stephenson Harwood, with which we maintain an association. We are able to provide advice on matters governed by English, Romanian, Bulgarian and other local laws. We also deal with the negotiation and drafting of sophisticated but clear contractual documentation in the English, Romanian and Bulgarian languages, by experienced native speakers.
