McGourty's Pub Information

McGourty's Pub is a private club with a focus on keeping it local! From music and other forms of entertainment, to craft beer and wine, as well as the wide variety of art by local craftsmen & artisans. McGourty's strives to support and promote the various talents of its members and will display such works of craftsmanship in the club as often as possible. In order to enter McGourty's, you will need to become a member or be accompanied by a member. We will need you to complete a Membership Application and provide us with valid identification, (Drivers License, State ID, Passport or Military ID) so we can make a copy. Membership fees are $20.00/year for Full Membership or a Limited Membership, (3 day) may be available for $5. Members may sign in 2 guests per day. Ask about our 1-Day Tasters Pass. In brief, you should know the following about us: our company was established in 2011 and hopes to be responsible for bringing new life to downtown Tryon, NC. Our focus will be on a good selection of craft beers, along with wine and a full liquor selection. We consider ourselves a great bar first, we have a great restaurant with a full menu of delicious offerings. Many locals are telling us we have the best food in town! I have included many of our personal favorites to create a kick-butt menu that's sure to please your taste buds too. We run specials on a regular basis too. Menu items include Irish Pub favorites...like Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Reuben Sandwich and a handful of popular American bar favorites like Wings, (a variety of flavors) Burgers, (fresh, not frozen) Nachos, (veggie, chicken or beef) Wraps & Sandwiches, (with meats carved in-house) and Salads. Friday nights we offer Filet Mignon, cooked to perfection and served with a salad and 2 sides of your choice. We hand cut our fries and chips and make most of our sauces in-house. We strive to use as much fresh local meats & produce as possible. We offer our full menu till 10 pm every night, (except Sundays when the kitchen closes ~ 8 pm)...and we serve a late night limited menu on Friday and Saturday nights. Our goal is to provide great customer service in an atmosphere that beckons our members back time after time. We have had a great reception from the community so far...about 1900 members to date, (August 2016). The Second & Fourth WEDNESDAY of each month is Shag night starting at 6;30 pm.
