McGill’s is the UK’s largest privately-owned bus company, with depots in , Greenock, Coatbridge, Inchinnan and Johnstone, as well the recent acquisition of Xplore Dundee. A Scottish Insider top 500 company, we have close to 1000 employees across our five depots and operate over 650 buses across 130 routes, serving North Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, North Lanarkshire, Glasgow City and Dundee. Every week, there are close to three-quarters of a million journeys on a McGill’s bus. Our company prides itself on high-level of customer service, and invests heavily in driver training and development. We have developed our own in-house training school within our Johnstone depot. McGill’s has made substantial investment in its fleet. In the last 10 years we have invested almost £14 million. Our vision is to provide a public transport network that is modern, efficient and integrated with other modes. In February 2015, the company achieved its Investors in Young People accreditation and came 2nd in the 2015 Bus Driver of the Year annual awards.
