McGann & Associates Information

McGann & Associates is a Tucson, Arizona based professional landscape architectural firm. Established in 1984, the firm has 40 years of experience on a wide range of landscape architectural, park planning, and sports field development projects in southern Arizona. Representative clients include; the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Arizona State Parks, the University of Arizona, Pima Community College, Pima County, and the communities of Tucson, Tempe, Casa Grande, Sierra Vista, Nogales, Marana, and Oro Valley. McGann & Associates and Pima County have successfully collaborated on numerous occasions. Collaborative efforts include the planning and design of urban / active recreation parks, the design of linear parks and trail systems, and the planning of natural resource areas. Specific project examples include Brandi Fenton Memorial Park, the Rillito River Park (Flowing Wells to La Cholla), and Tortolita Mountain Park. McGann & Associates’ work for Pima County also includes the preparation of the “Standard Details and Specifications for Park Improvements” document which will apply to the Northside Regional Park project. McGann & Associates also has a long-standing relationship with GLHN Architects and Engineers. The firms have collaborated on more than 100 projects over the past 25 years. Project examples include the University of Arizona Women’s Soccer Field, Crossroads at Silverbell Park, and the new lighted soccer fields at Morris K. Udall Regional Park. McGann & Associates staff includes three Arizona registered landscape architects. These individuals are supported by designers, CAD technicians, and clerical staff all of whom are familiar with Pima County’s standards, policies, and procedures.
