𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺: The current landscape is fragmented and lacks clear standards for digital tools. It is hard for users to know what is effective, what prevents effective solutions from scaling sustainably, and what creates a meaningful impact. This lack of standards is compounded by the absence of a shared language that all system enablers can use to discuss efficacy and risk. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: MCert, funded by Pivotal (a network of organizations founded by Melinda French Gates), was established to fundamentally change this. We are working to unite system enablers across sectors to create a neutral, credible, and verifiable non-partisan standard for youth mental health and well-being tools. 𝗠𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹: Collaborate with leaders to design quality standards for sub-clinical mental health tools for young people to instill Systemic Trust, increase sustainable adoption, and increase well-being. 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: To establish the verifiable, non-partisan standard for youth mental health and well-being tools, decisively moving the industry from overwhelm and confusion to Systemic Trust, and ensuring every young person has access to safe, effective support. 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: A future where all system enablers—from community leaders to youth—can easily find trusted, effective, and safe sub-clinical mental health tools, enabling a lifestyle of sustainable mental health and well-being.
