The Merseyside Contact Centre Forum is a non-profit making organisation which is dedicated to the promoting the interests of the contact centre sector in Merseyside. Nevertheless, membership is open to all and any organisation, anywhere in the world, is welcome to become a member. The new MCCF was launched in 2002 to build on the very successful work of the Merseyside Call Centre Association which had been run in conjunction with John Moores University. As the sector matured in Merseyside, it was decided that the organisation should be fun on a more formal basis and the scope of its objectives increased. The MCCF is sponsored by Insight, which is providing managerial and secretarial support. The MCCF is a company limited by guarantee, not having share capital. It is company no. 4429234 and was incorporated on 1st May 2002.
