Maxima is a public company (traded on TASE) and is a leading producer and supplier of industrial and medical gases and related equipment. It is servicing a variety of industries: Healthcare, Life Sciences, Cosmetics, Metal, Chemistry, Food, Bio-Technology and Advanced Scientific Research in many different fields. Oxygen for life support systems, biological waste treatment and improced energetic efficiency in various industries, Nitrogen for inertization and freezing, Carbon Dioxide for beverages, desalination plants and food applications, Helium for MRI, Cryogenic refrigerators for tissues preservation or for IVF, Nitrous Oxide for the relief of pain and anxiety etc., are merely few of the equipments and gases that are being supplied by the company. Maxima is producing Air gases in 2 sites, where major customers are also supplied via direct pipelines from the company's plants. One site is in the south of Israel and the other is in the center. The company also produces CO2, Nitrous Oxide, Acetylene and gas mixtures. Via its subsidiaries, Maxima trades speciality gases and equipment, as well as medical devices.
