At MatterWork, we connect business professionals with like-minded people they click with, but without the awkwardness of networking. After all, you aren't in college anymore. Connecting with adults is hard. That's where we come in. We believe we're disrupting the way networking has always been done. Our mission? To solve the loneliness epidemic by connecting business professionals and remote workers with like-minded people locally to build meaningful connections, combat social isolation, grow their network, business and careers. Our approach to networking, coworking, and friendship is unique. We hate traditional “networking”. And if you’re anything like most business professionals, you know you could be more intentional about connecting with other people. But no matter how hard you try, you still feel disconnected. Sadly, even the most intentional people turn to the same old tactics: networking events, random meetups, or the time-consuming lunch-and-learn. But it never works, because every other networking solution just means you’re even more swamped… And they always fail to deliver what you’re really after: meaningful connections with like-minded people.
