MatterWave develops in-process upgrades for metal additive manufacturing systems to improve fatigue performance, process repeatability, and qualification outcomes. Our technology integrates controlled mechanical excitation and closed-loop process control directly into existing laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) platforms, shifting critical material control into the build process itself and reducing reliance on post-build heat treatment. This enables more consistent production of fatigue-critical metal components.
