Matterhorn Languages specialises in high-quality German to English translations, with a focus on the automotive, aviation and e-commerce sectors. We complete virtually all of our translations in-house, thereby allowing us to have complete oversight of all stages of the translation process and to guarantee quality. Established in 2002, we work with many global brands in the UK and Europe. Our team have extensive experience of working with global automotive manufacturers, translating documents including press releases, training materials, product brochures, speeches and presentations. Our work in the aviation sector includes the translation of highly technical documents for governmental and regulatory bodies. The ever-growing e-commerce sector is an area where we have significant experience, producing commercially focused copy that is targeted at your customer base. We also offer flexible and effective language learning solutions. We believe that a strategy that leads to deep and long-lasting learning is based on challenging acquisition, relating learning to previous knowledge and using retrieval practice that is spaced, challenging and interleaved. Whilst face-to-face language teaching remains important in the above strategy, we felt that it needed to be complemented by an online learning approach that takes advantage of the latest educational research and technology. Our methodology, based on content developed in house and delivered via the Zamboorak online learning platform, increases the effectiveness of learning, reduces the amount of time that needs to be spent in the classroom and ultimately delivers better results at a lower cost to the client. Our approach is flexible and can be adapted to suit the needs of your organisation – we can either develop content for you to use on your existing learning system or host an online learning solution for you, alongside content creation.
