Matrix Rom Information

Founded in 1992-1993 by a group of experienced software developers, Matrix Rom wanted to offer a reliable software solution for the growing civil engineering industry in Romania. The big surprise of those days was that the there was no up to date documentation for this sector, so we found an opportunity starting to create new documentation for this sector. As well, those were the years of first personal computers here, also without any local documentation. We brought together authors from different domains to start to provide the market with their knowledge about civil engineering and personal computers. This is how Matrix Rom was born as software provider and publishing house. The publishing house evolved into the first technical books publisher on the Romanian market. In parallel, as a software company, Matrix Rom brought to the market a suite of products for civil engineering companies, and related, which includes 13 products, most of them being unique on the Romanian market. In 2002 we decided to exploit our capabilities for software development and decided to extended our focus to provide consulting and outsourcing services. Since then we provided services to companies in Israel, Canada, The Netherlands, USA, Belgium, Switzerland, Romania. In 2010, together with Kisano Suisse we have founded Kisano Medical Systems in Romania to provide medical software and equipments for Eastern European and Middle East.
