Mini Gears is a privately owned subcontract engineering company based in Stockport, near Manchester, supplying to a wide range of industries on a global basis. We have a large a 35,000 sq.ft. (3252m2) factory and over 100 machines and 80 staff dedicated to machining our customers’ components. Traditionally a specialist gear manufacturing company we have expanded our machining capabilities to diversify into new high end markets and now, in addition to commercial gears and racks we manufacture many types of high precision machined components and high quality gears.

We are a precision machining & engineering company based in Barnstaple, North Devon who provide quality, yet affordable machined parts for local businesses and nationwide subcontract requirements.

Importantly, I&G Engineering has built up long standing partnerships with customers, based on quality of work, a solution driven approach and exceptional customer service. We have continually invested and supported our employees, training them in the most up to date machining techniques and health and safety standards. We also run a comprehensive apprentice training programme designed to help young, potential engineers gain hands-on experience, vocational qualifications and a step onto the employment ladder. Through this consistent approach to quality and training, back in 1992 we achieved our first quality accreditation whilst working with a major cutting tool company. Today this accreditation is known as ISO9001-2008. In 2014, I&G Engineering was delighted to be awarded the Investors in People accreditation for our continual support and commitment to employee training and professional development.
