Math&Sport Information

Math&Sport is an innovative startup focused on the optimization of the athlete performance and game tactics through the use of mathematics and data science. It offers both tools of individual analysis and game intelligence to all types of consumers: top level athletes, coaches or amateurs of individual and team sports. Thank to mathematics and statistics, Math&Sport can process the big amount of data available, extracting information through machine learning video tracking automatized algorithms. The main idea is to support coaches’ competence and experience – before, during and after the competitions – with the suggestions of statistical analysis and the useful help of real time processing of relevant data to improve game tactics. In particular: - Individual performance analysis: Math&Sport allows to evaluate athlete’s performance automatically and objectively, quantifying an athlete’s playing style, presenting innovative metrics to support the study of training sessions and monitoring performance over time. - Tactical analysis: Math&Sport allows an in-depth real time study on the opponent’s strategy, supporting coaches and suggesting adequate tactics through simple and objective tools. Since 2024 MathandSport has realized a media channel called House of Calcio, in order to increase the value and the knowledge of data for the fans.
