JSerra is an independent Catholic high school that encourages students to pursue personal and professional excellence in life. Established in 2003, JSerra Catholic High School stands as a beacon of academic excellence and faith-based education in the heart of California. With a clear mission inspired by our patron, St. Junípero Serra, we strive to cultivate intellectual excellence in our students and support their moral and spiritual formation. Our independent Catholic high school is dedicated to guiding students in grades 9-12 towards personal and professional excellence, embracing an approach that integrates the rich traditions and beliefs of the Catholic Church with a rigorous academic curriculum. Ninety-nine percent of our graduates attend college, and many attend the most prestigious universities including Stanford, Georgetown, Notre Dame, USC, and the United States Air Force Academy. From our humble beginnings with just 156 students to a vibrant community of approximately 1,200 Lions, JSerra's journey is one of innovation, community, and faith. Chaminade College Preparatory inspires young people to love, learn, and lead through our Catholic and Marianist traditions of living faith, academic excellence, and moral responsibility. With more than 12,000 alumni, Chaminade graduates are prepared, inspired, and equipped to share God’s love by caring for others and seeking justice and peace. Our students learn, adapt, and grow with the world around them to become servant leaders and positive contributors to society. Founded in 1952, Chaminade is a values-based, academically excellent coeducational school serving more than 2,000 students in grades 6 to 12. Chaminade operates a middle school in Chatsworth and a high school in West Hills.
