COVID-19-Volunteer Project. Aktiv from 2020 - 2021. 100% voluntary - The national and interdisciplinary platform Match4Care uses a filter-based matching algorithm to connect helpers with care and health institutions that urgently need support in this difficult time. Nursing and health facilities in Switzerland face a major challenge when it comes to staff shortages. With the growing number of cases of COVID-19, the pressure on the entire care system increases, which leads to increased personnel requirements. At the same time, there is a risk that own personnel will fail due to infections. Together with an association of nursing facilities in Switzerland, we have developed a scalable and expandable platform for bringing together available nursing staff or people from medical-related areas and nursing institutes. As a kind of marketplace for helpful people and institutes in need of personnel, we want to make a contribution to overcoming the COVID-19 crisis.
