Master Products Information

Master Products was established in Toa Baja in 1987. Master Products distributes and manufactures packaged concrete and related products under QUIKRETE®, the number one brand in the United States and Puerto Rico. Products include Concrelisto®, Pronto Mix®, thin sets and grouts, cement mixes and repair products. They also distribute Pittsburgh Corning® glass blocks, corner beads, and Westinghouse products. Sister company Master Paints and Chemical Corp. was launched in 1999 after purchasing Vassallo Paints Company (VAPCO) in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. It manufactures paints, sealers, and chemicals under the Master® and Armstrong® brands. Master has developed a full line of sealers, such as Masterflex® Reflective, our top quality pioneering roof sealer re-enforced with fibers. Master Paints' Restaura® offers specialized lime based protective coatings for the restoration of historic buildings and structures. This product line is certified and approved by the Puerto Rican Institute of Culture and has been used in historic constructions such as Fort San Felipe del Morro, Fort San Cristóbal, Porta Coeli Church, Las Cabezas de San Juan Lighthouse, El Convento Hotel, La Fortaleza (Governor's Mansion) and the Historic Caguas Bridge, El Jardín in Miami, and the Gadsen Chappel in South Carolina, among other projects in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and the United States. Product list includes Masterflex® and Masterflex Reflective elastomeric roof sealers, Restaura® paints and lime mortars for restoration, architectonic and decorative paints such as Luxury® 2 in1 Paint+Primer, Covertex®, EZ Clean®, and Eco Pure® 2 in 1 Premium Paint+Primer. Industrial paints includes Vassguard® epoxy coating for the maintenance and application on sewers, Silicone Water Repellent, and Dry Wall® waterproof paint. In September 2012, Master Paints became the world's first paint and sealer manufacturer operating with 100% solar energy in its Guayanilla, Puerto Rico facilities.
