Masten Valuation, LLC Information

Masten Valuation specializes in valuation and litigation support consulting services of businesses, closely-held stock, and intangible assets as they apply to both private and public companies. We have provided business valuation, economic damages and lost profits calculations for companies operating in a variety of industries including real estate development and management, healthcare, manufacturing and distribution processes, exploration and production of natural resources, agriculture and related service sectors, wholesale and retail sales, and personal/professional services. Ms. Masten has been qualified as an expert witness in both federal and district courts, and her valuations and expert witness testimony have been for purposes of estate and gift tax planning, buy-sell agreements, purchase/sale transactions, goodwill impairment, damages, marital dissolution, and Rule 702 (Daubert) Hearing opinions. Ms. Masten is currently serving as Chairman of the editorial board for The Value Examiner, a contributing member of the editorial board to the Journal of Business Valuation and Economic Loss Analysis, and is an officer of the Colorado NACVA State Chapter. Ms. Masten is also an adjunct professor at the University of Denver, teaching a Masters' level capstone course in the valuation of privately held businesses. Ms. Masten is an instructor for the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts' (NACVA) National Training & Development Team for the CVA designation, which is presented throughout the country approximately 18 weeks per year. She is also an instructor and development team member for the preparation course that provides the foundation for the Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) designation. Ms. Masten has received numerous awards over the years, including the NACVA Instructor of Exception Distinction honor for each of the past eleven years.
