Mass Times Information

With the help of the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA), Mass Times started collecting church information fifteen years ago from 176 dioceses, paper directories and even hand-written lists of churches. It took 18 months to acquire and load the directories into the first version of the database. Since then, Mass Times has grown to be the largest global provider of information for traveling Catholics. Mass Times collaborates with the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB), has a close relationship and partnership with the Daughters of St. Paul, and receives encouragement from the Vatican through Archbishop Claudio Maria Celli. MassTimes.org receives donations to support its mission and offers free vocation advertisements. Besides the help of dioceses and parishes, more than 100 volunteers and seminarians work diligently to keep church information current.
