Founded by a final-year Cyber Security, Forensics & Networking student, Mason Cyber Security provides simple, fixed-scope Small Business Cyber Security Health Checks; ideal for owners who rely on laptops, email and cloud tools but don’t have an in-house IT/security team. A typical health check covers: – Passwords & multi-factor authentication (MFA) on key accounts – Device security (updates, antivirus/endpoint protection, basic configuration) – Wi-Fi/router setup (default passwords, guest networks, remote access) – Backups & recovery – could you recover if a laptop were lost or stolen? – Basic security awareness and good practice for staff Each engagement includes a structured checklist and a short, easy-to-understand report with prioritised recommendations and next steps. The goal is to reduce real-world risk for small businesses in a clear, affordable and non-jargon way.
