MASA is a natural blend of Japanese sensibility and Dutch pragmatism. We specialize in architecture and interior design. We treat architecture as an integral part of its environment rather than as an independent object, approaching each project as a synthesis of architecture, urbanism, and landscape. Our aim is to contribute to a sustainable society, environment, and culture. MASA Architects was founded in 2015 by Hiroki Matsuura and René Sangers — one Japanese, one Dutch.
