We invite you to join the community of Danish Red Cross. Maybe you want to work in our organisation, have dreams of being a volunteer, want to partner up and make business or are just a curious person. We share our knowledge and invites you yo be an active participant. Red Cross volunteers provide help where it is most needed, either in their own local area or abroad. Volunteerism is at the heart of the Red Cross and is one of the guiding principles of our work. The Red Cross has a unique transnational network of volunteers who are always ready to help when disaster hits. Red Cross save lives every day and help people get through crisis situations and disasters. In Denmark we create communities and help society’s most vulnerable people towards a better life.

Save the Children works in Denmark and more than 120 other countries. We save children’s lives. We protect and strengthen them. We fight for their rights. We are the world’s leading independent organisation for children. We provide emergency aid and prevent disasters. We fight violence, abuse and bullying. We ensure schooling, build communities and strengthen children’s resilience. We advocate for positive changes for vulnerable children and encourage debate on the quality of children’s lives. Save the Children Denmark is a democratic organisation of committed volunteers organised into 65 local branches. Volunteers provide children with life changing experiences at holiday camps, on outdoor trips and in local communities. They run second hand shops and lend a hand at the Save the Children collections.

Alle børn har ret til at overleve, udvikle sig, blive hørt og få et godt liv. Derfor arbejder UNICEF med langsigtet udvikling og nødhjælp i mere end 150 af verdens fattigste lande. UNICEF Danmark er en af UNICEFs i alt 34 nationale komiteer, som samler penge ind til UNICEFs arbejde og arbejder for at udbrede kendskabet til FNs Børnekonvention.
