MARTIN AND LAWRENCE PRESS is a small, independent publisher dedicated to providing quality fiction and non-fiction books of a historical nature. We are particularly focused on books set in New England and/or written by New England authors. We have five titles coming out this fall. Our featured offering, by our third-time author David S. Brody, is THE WRONG ABRAHAM. Two titles by Richard Meibers are being re-issued as fresh offerings this year, one fiction, STEAL AWAY HOME and one nonfiction, THE FITCHBURG WATCH. Also new this fall are two very funny compilations, MEDICAL MALAPROPS, twenty-seven years of misquoted medical phrases, by physician David Spiegelman; WATER IS RISING IN THE CLASSROOM, teachers nightmares, by Eliot Lillien.
