Founded in July 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched our first event, the Canada Summer Marketing Challenge, a four-week virtual development program for students to develop, build and market a website on a $0.00 budget — all while gaining new skills, learning from professionals, receiving coaching from university mentors and making some new connections. That is why we have one simple mission: to provide challenges, competitions, workshops and other events for Canadian students in high school who are passionate or curious about the field of marketing. At Marketing Challenge Canada, we don’t want students to break the bank in order to build their network, learn new skills and participate in one-of-a-kind opportunities. Now, no matter the event or challenge, we seek to help students gain an edge that will help them after high school and beyond.
