The Market Research Benevolent Association (MRBA) is the UK market research industry's only independent, registered charity. Who we help We are eager to help research colleagues in need, regardless of their title or position. For the past 40+ years we have been providing financial support through interest-free loans and grants to those who work or have worked in market research agencies, client companies and independents. Most people come to us because of an illness, accident, bereavement or other misfortune. Although their requests are usually modest, their need is great. Membership in the Market Research Society (MRS) or the MRBA are not a requirement. All applicants are assigned an MRBA Regional Manager who is there to help with the application process and to provide support. Cases are assessed every 6 weeks by the MRBA Committee, but urgent cases can be fast tracked if necessary. Over the years, we have helped over 1,000 interviewers, recruiters, researchers, managers, executives and support staff from the UK research industry and given away more than £1million in interest-free loans and grants.
