Mark Lay Foundation Information

At the Mark Lay Foundation our purpose is simple; to support families who are affected by cancer, by providing a financial grant to those who cannot afford to take a holiday or short break. Our grant scheme provides legible families financial support if they cannot afford to take a break from the gruelling day to day life of cancer and haven’t had the chance to create lasting memories together. In February 2017 Team Lay took a short break to Cornwall, this gave them the chance to break away from the everyday life of cancer and treatments. At the Mark Lay Foundation we know first hand the importance of taking every moment possible to be together as a family, to make memories and to be able to cherish them when sadly the time comes to say goodbye. We aim to give this opportunity to other families who find themselves in this life shattering position by providing a grant that will go towards a holiday or short break. We are proud to also support three beneficiaries that provide cancer care at the most important times of need; St. Catherine’s Hospice, St. Wilfrid’s Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support. By supporting these fantastic charities we are able to make a difference to the lives of terminally ill patients and their families.
