Mark Graham Electrical Information

MGE is a local family owned and operated electrical company in Townsville. MGE started operating in May 2005 as a two person show of Mark on the tools and Kate doing books after hours whilst also working a full time job. We employed our first apprentice in March 2006 and that apprentice still works for us today. By 2007 Kate was working full time in the business from our home office in Kirwan. 2008 saw us purchase a property on Thuringowa drive to operate from because our number of staff had grown to 10 and the fleet of vehicles had outgrown our space. 2011 saw a full time receptionist join the MGE team and by early 2012, staff numbers had increased again and it was clear that a bigger office and warehouse was needed to accommodate our workforce. We moved into the property at Woolcock Street in May 2012 and the dream of a lighting showroom and consultancy was born. Staff numbers in 2013 currently sit around 20 with 16 tradesman and apprentices and 4 office staff occupying admin and consultancy. Whilst we have enjoyed healthy growth over the past few years, we have always remained astute in ensuring our staff always provide a quality job with an emphasis on attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
