Designer Fay Andrada founded the brand in 2010 in New York City. She is the daughter of an architect father from the Philippines and a mother from Finland. Fay is a trained graphic designer that lived and studied in New York, Paris and London before finding her love of metal work during a year in Portland, Maine. Using hammers, files, and flame, Fay designs each piece of her collection at the bench. She embraces the imperfection of the human hand. Subtle textures and organic lines emerge and define her sculptural pieces. All pieces are hand finished by artisans. Fay Andrada jewelry is minimalism that does not sacrifice imagination or beauty.
