Mark A. Thacker, AIA located in Tyler, Texas, is a full-service architecture firm providing professional architecture and historic preservation services. Our emphasis is on preservation planning, restoration and rehabilitation of historic buildings and structures throughout Central and East Texas including house museums, commercial and civic buildings and private residences. Each structure has its own unique style and related architectural vocabulary that provides design ideas and inspirations for restoring and/or renovating your historic building. ?Our services include historic preservation planning, historic architecture and design including adaptive reuse and the design of sympathetic additions, as well as, preservation and building restoration, planning and sustainable design. Most of our projects combine some or even all of these areas to achieve the desired levels of functionally, efficiencies and aesthetic effects. Historic preservation plans, master plans and historic structures reports are the tools we use to interpret a building and create a plan for its preservation. Mark Thacker is an experienced architect and historic preservationist who takes pride in working with his clients to preserve and protect the integrity of their cultural and historic resources.
