Mariupol State University is a classical higher educational institution with a wide network of international contacts and long-standing reputation in the Ukrainian and foreign educational and pedagogical communities, a leading center of revival and development of Hellenism in Ukraine and a center of training of highly qualified specialists: economists, lawyers, historians, teachers, psychologists, diplomats, interpreters, journalists who constitute the brainpower of the society. The University has 5 faculties, 25 departments, International Students Advisory Centre, a number of international academic and educational and cultural centers: - The European Public Law Organization (YEOPP) in Ukraine, - Regional European Information Point, - Institute of Ukrainian-Greek Friendship and Hellenistic Studies, - Examination Center of the Ministry of Education and Religion, Culture and Sport of Greece to obtain an international certificate on knowledge of the Greek language, - Dante Alighieri International Union, - Examination Centre to obtain an international certificate on knowledge of the Italian language (P.L.I.D.A.), - Center for Gender Studies and Education, Moscow State University, - International Centre for Environment, - Italian, Polish, Israeli, Chinese cultural centers. Currently the University has more than 4200 students. University Educational activities include: - access courses; - post secondary education (full-time, correspondence, distance form, external); - postgraduate education. MSU prepares specialists in educational levels "Bachelor", "Specialist", "Master". 10 disciplines: teaching; culture; humanities; social and political sciences; international relations; journalism and information; law; economics and business; management and administration; natural sciences.
