Our story began in Hiroshima in the late summer of 1970. Back then we were a local architectural firm with expertise in providing affordable condominium designs to suit the burgeoning demand set by Japan’s rapid urbanisation. Building on our experience and techniques in residential planning and design, we transitioned into condominium development and set a goal to become leaders in the local market. Our first in-house development was successfully launched in 1990 and, over the past 20 years, we have completed over 300 condominium projects in Japan and overseas, our “Polestar” brand becoming a household name in cities across the country. Having established a strong domestic reputation and enjoying continued growth, we expanded our vision to encompass the rest of Asia. Our first overseas subsidiary was established in China in 2009, quickly followed by regional offices in Indonesia and Malaysia, and residential and commercial developments in all three countries. By applying flexible thinking to develop a wide range of innovative real estate products, we show our commitment to creating new value in regional economies across the Asia Pacific region.
