Founded in 1975 Marietta Sand Corporation is a hauling and site development/utility contractor serving Duval County and the surrounding Northeast Florida area for over 34 years. Our primary concentration is on commercial and industrial site development including general site work, underground utilities, paving and drainage. We employ a complete site development division equipped with excavators, dozers, front-end loaders, skid steer loaders, graders, rollers, and water trucks. Our estimating division utilizes cad and computer digitized takeoff methods. Our field crew utilizes GPS layout equipment for fast and responsive layout and staking as well as equipment mounted GPS for efficient grading and excavating. Our hauling resources include a fleet of tandem dump trucks providing the hauling of aggregate products and fill material throughout Duval and the surrounding areas of Northeast Florida. Marietta Sand Corporation also takes pride in our high standards of safety. We are fully covered under workmen’s compensation and carry three million dollars in General Liability. We conduct daily & weekly safety meetings for both our site division and our trucking division, along with monthly meetings for all employees. We also employ a full time certified mechanic at our facilities in Jacksonville enabling us to perform safety checks and maintain our equipment for peak performance.
