Established by Marie G. Solis, the Foundation was created to allow others to experience the kind of care and love that Marie received from her caregiver during the final six months of her life. The foundation's mission is to promote and support end-of-life care that focuses on the individual's quality of life rather than the extension of life without regard to its quality. Through the provision of yearly grants, the Foundation aims to provide funding to organizations that provide hospice and palliative care. Additionally, the Foundation strives to educate the public about the available options for end-of-life care. This was unconditional sacrifice, care and understanding without the slightest expectation of anything in return.
