Mapstone Information

Mapstone Labs LLC is a female-founded blockchain technology company based in New York City. We build infrastructure for geographic identity and digital ownership by turning real-world addresses and postal codes into unique digital assets on Ethereum. Our platform lets users mint, own and trade location-based digital assets. Each Address NFT represents a specific real-world address, while each Neighborhood NFT represents a U.S. postal code. Neighborhood NFT holders earn royalties from Address NFT minting and marketplace sales within their postal code. Address Quest™ is Mapstone’s data-driven real estate strategy game. Participants collect and trade Address NFTs, compete on a leaderboard and earn ETH rewards based on real-world housing market performance. Monthly changes in home values by postal code shape the competition, connecting digital collecting with real estate strategy. The Mapstone ecosystem brings together structured mapping data, Ethereum smart contracts, an NFT marketplace and community participation. Activity across the platform generates geographic insights into where interest and engagement are growing. These insights may also inform future real estate investment strategies pursued by Mapstone Asset Management (“Mapstone AM”), a planned initiative within the broader Mapstone ecosystem. By linking physical places with decentralized networks, Mapstone creates new ways to collect, trade and engage with the locations that matter to people.
