Mapi Valley is a social brand that supports a new generation of sommeliers and chefs. Started in South Africa in January 2018. We partner with rising stars, highlighting their story and building with them limited series of wines and spirits. Our first sommelier is Marlvin Gwese from the Cape Grace Hotel (Cape Town, SA). Profits are used for investing in education and enablement of aspiring sommeliers, chefs and entrepreneurs in wine & gastronomy. Our first partner producer is Solms-Delta Wine Estate from Franschhoek, South Africa. Together we have launched two limited ranges of wines, one of those received a 18/20 point score from Jancis Robinson!
