Manteco has been a leading textile company for premium textiles and circularity since 1943. It is a Member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's Network and a partner of the Monitor For Circular Fashion by SDA Bocconi. It was first established as a small spinning mill by Enzo Anacleto Mantellassi, who started the production of sustainable yarns by regenerating old military garments and covers. And as the years passed, it has become a point of reference in the fashion world, thanks to a high level of creativity, smart and constant research, investments and great textile solutions. In our long history, we have constantly pursued the objectives of growth and expansion, always with an eye to enhancing our values of sustainability, innovative solutions and improving our flagship zero-waste system, our sustainable design and traceable circular economy projects. Manteco is adhering to the principles of the UN Agenda 2030 for sustainable development and was the first textile company to ever apply a science-based LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) study on its luxury recycled wools.
