Eagala sets standards, provides training, certification, and support for mental health professional and equine specialists who offer Equine assisted psychotherapy and learning services.
High Hopes is a vibrant community of horses and humans whose purpose is to improve the lives of people living with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities. Through Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies we seek to empower and support our participants, volunteers, friends and indeed, our supporters.
Seventy-Five percent of our revenue each year is generated from donations and fundraisers. Through our dedicated development team, and valued supporters, our community aims to ensure that anyone who could benefit from the horse-human interaction is able to do so, regardless of their ability to pay.
Our participants include children born with physical and cognitive disabilities, adults who are living their lives with cognitive or sensory disabilities, veterans and their families dealing with the impact of deployment and/or PTSD, teens dealing with anxiety, families recovering from domestic abuse, and individuals of all ages living with, or caring for someone with dementia. All can benefit from the unique and therapeutic activities that High Hopes staff, herd, and 650+ volunteers provide.
We welcome you to become part of our community, as a partner, a volunteer, a participant, or an occasional visitor to the farm.
Saddle Up!’s mission is to provide children and youth with disabilities the opportunity to grow and develop through therapeutic, educational and recreational activities with horses.
Our Programs
Saddle Up! serves children and youth with disabilities between the ages of 2 and 26 years old. Eligibility requirements differ depending on the program. Saddle Up! is a PATH International Premier Accredited Center which provides high-quality programs in the field of equine-assisted services. Based on your child’s needs and interests, we can provide Adaptive Riding, Therapy Services, Adaptive Horsemanship, Fun on the Farm, Equestrian Club, Interactive Vaulting, From the Ground Up, and/or Alumni Transitions.
Why the horse?
Nothing can compare to the power of the horse. The auto industry has put “horsepower” into their engines for decades, but there is a “horse power” beyond strength and speed that only a real horse can provide. Saddle Up! partners with their herd to offer children and youth with disabilities a unique environment to grow and develop. Our horses provide movement, support, learning opportunities, strength, stability, companionship, and much more to participants in all of our different programs.
