Manas Foundation Information

Manas Foundation is a registered social development organization established in 2008 by a group of social work students with the vision of translating grassroots ideas into effective action. Over the years, the organization has evolved into a strong team of qualified social work professionals and committed community leaders working together to create sustainable change. We work closely with the most marginalized sections of the society, including women, Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, children, farmers, adolescent girls, and young boys. Our approach is participatory, need-based, and integrated, ensuring that communities remain at the center of all interventions. Our core strategies focus on strengthening awareness of entitlements, building the capacities of marginalized communities, nurturing local leadership, and facilitating collective action to drive long-term social change. Access to Quality Health, Women’s Empowerment, Quality Education, Livelihood development and Financial Inclusion, Infrastructure Development constitute the core thematic areas of our work
