Creating a Place to Grow. At Manahan, everyone deserves and receives the opportunity to grow through dignity, independence, and meaningful connection. Since 1979, we have supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide home, respite, adult dayhab, vocational opportunities, and community connections so each person can build skills, relationships, and enriching lives. We take a holistic approach in creating a place to grow for all those involved in the Manahan community. Growth can be a resident gaining greater independence, a team member discovering purpose in their work, or a volunteer building meaningful relationships through service. As a result, all at Manahan experience dignity, independence, and connection – creating unique opportunities and building stronger individuals, stronger communities, and a more inclusive future for those who are disabled or non-disabled.
