Managing Across Cultures has been helping foreign companies and global leaders since the 80s to enter India. It has been the first cross-cultural management training firm in India, since 1982, celebrating 30 years this years. In this time, we have helped 100s of leaders, Country Managers, CEOs of Companies, leading executives and their teams to enter and/or work with India. Managing Across Cultures conducts Relocation Trainings, "Working Effectively with India" workshops (on both sides of the ocean) for many of the leading MNCs that are now well established in India-and we continue to help many of them. Managing Across Cultures has been called to help leaders of R&D Centers set up operations and create a "Culture of Innovation" and an effective work culture that interacts compatibly with their Western Counterparts. We can accurately identify and address the cultural challenges faced by western managers in India, as well as NRIs returning to work in India, while tuning in very well with the perceptions of leaders and managers in India. Our President, Dr. Zareen Karani Araoz, has been spending at least 3-5 months based in India, working with MNCs in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and other places, understanding and identifying their business challenges that are people and culture-related and helping them overcome them and aim for excellence with their Indian teams. For the past 25+ years, Dr. Araoz has also been a primary person called on by a range of multinationals, particularly IT and pharma firms, as well as financial institutions, to train Western teams, especially in the US and Europe, to work with India. Dr. Araoz is also called on by most of the leading cross-cultural firms to be their "India Specialist" and so she has been exposed to a variety of clients and companies, both in coaching Global Leaders as well as working with Indian teams and their Western partners.
