Mallard Contracting is a proudly 100 per cent Aboriginal-owned construction contracting company established in 2011 by Wajarra-Nanda man Robby Mallard. With bases across the Pilbara, we offer our clients a turnkey solution across a broad range of construction services in the mining resource industry, including hydraulics, installations, and civil concreting, communications and high voltage electrical installations. With more than 40 years' combined construction experience the Mallard Contracting executive leadership team and field personnel has developed an enviable reputation for completing projects on time and to budget. As part of our work across the remote Pilbara region, Mallard Contracting pays respect to the past and present Traditional Owners of the lands upon which we operate, in order to create opportunity and choice for fellow Indigenous Australians. A core component of our ethos is a commitment to helping improve the lives of Indigenous people and their communities through training and development opportunities, and providing sustainable employment. We are focussed on using our company as an incubator for young Indigenous people to commence and complete apprenticeships specific to the civil construction industry, while enabling them to access mentoring opportunities with highly-skilled and experienced trade personnel. Since founding Mallard Contracting in 2011 after 20 years in the construction, mining and resource industry, Robby Mallard has strived to give back to his community and provide opportunities for other young indigenous Australians to gain apprenticeships and employment through our company.
