MTA is a trade association dedicated to promoting the interest of its members (all 19 licensed Takaful and Retakaful operators in Malaysia) and to supervise the exercise of self-regulation within the Takaful industry. The focus of MTA’s work is, among others, the branding, awareness, communication, and shared services for the Takaful industry through the leveraging of technology, strategic investment opportunities and continuous engagement with regulators.
