Making Space is a talent and learning platform that closes the disability employment gap by connecting employers with Disabled professionals and equipping organisations with the tools, training, and infrastructure to hire and retain them well. We work with enterprise clients and cultural institutions to build inclusive workplaces, integrating with existing systems to make inclusion practical. Our training has reached over 200,000 employees and we work with partners including Microsoft, Salesforce, Netflix, Red Bull, and Coca Cola. The Ascend Fellowship is Making Space's flagship workforce mobility program. A structured, cohort-based initiative, Ascend supports Disabled professionals, including those who are Neurodivergent, d/Deaf, or Chronically Ill, to build in-demand skills, navigate benefits systems, translate lived experience into workplace strengths, and move into meaningful, sustainable careers. With a 75% placement rate and a 123:1 Social ROI, Ascend delivers a pre-qualified talent pipeline directly to hiring partners. Our work spans workforce development, employer training, and AI-powered benefits navigation through Safe-to-Earn, our tool helping Disabled professionals access the financial support they're entitled to without losing it. Disabled professionals are an underutilised, high-potential workforce held back by systemic barriers, and we exist to change that.
