Making Space Information

Making Space is a talent acquisition and learning platform that enables companies to access, support, and retain Disabled professionals. Seamlessly integrating with existing enterprise software, Making Space connects employers with a highly qualified, innovative, and often overlooked workforce, while equipping teams with the education and tools needed to confidently support current and future Disabled employees, including those who are Neurodivergent, d/Deaf, or Chronically Ill. Alongside this work, Ascend is Making Space’s flagship career development program. Ascend is a structured, six-month initiative that supports Disabled professionals to build in-demand skills, navigate complex benefits systems, translate lived experience into transferable workplace strengths, and access clear pathways to employment and economic mobility. Through accessible learning, mentorship, and direct connections to hiring partners, Ascend supports a pre-qualified talent pipeline while enabling participants to move into meaningful, sustainable careers. Our goal is close the disability employment gap and to ensure Disabled professionals have the resources, confidence, and opportunities to and shape the future of their industries.
