makeSHIFT Architecture is a design studio and full service architecture firm that thinks about how we practice architecture as much as how we make architecture. We think good design should be accessible to everyone, and that everyone should have a hand in the design process. Our goal is to shift the way architecture is traditionally made: by architects, for the public. Instead, our design process creates opportunities and conditions for the public to participate in making architecture. Our design process is designed to engage our clients at every step of the way, with intentional points of collaboration to make the most of everyone’s time and expertise. We are a certified woman business enterprise (WBE) and currently licensed in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, and Virginia, working on a variety of project types and scales. We have the capability work remotely in any city or state and worldwide.
