Makers Information

We are a student-led, project-based organization that believes in making for the sake of making! Every school year, 10-11 engineering projects are taken from ideation to realization, each led by a project manager along with ~6 project team members. These projects are presented at our semesterly showcases, which are open to the public. We strive to facilitate the exploration of concepts in electronics design and stimulate interest in fields of electronics such as IoT, Embedded Systems, and Robotics. Makers aims to act as a resource for its members by helping them develop skills and establish networks for their professional interests. We also hope to serve as a resource for our community by offering mentorship, assistance, and workshops to give back to other students and hobbyists in the area. USC Makers is an organization within the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at USC Viterbi.
